Champions Hi Tech Private Limited ("we", "our", "us") built MyBusiness HQ as an ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) application designed for small and medium businesses. It helps you manage accounting, billing, inventory, customers, vendors, sales, purchases, and staff records in one place. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

1. Data We Collect

We collect only what is needed to run the app and provide ERP functionality:

• Account information — name, email address, phone number, and password (stored encrypted).
• Business profile — company name, address, GST / tax identification number, logo, and bank details used on invoices.
• Operational data — customers, vendors, products, stock levels, invoices, purchase orders, payments, expenses, and reports you create inside the app.
• Staff & payroll data (only if you enable the HR module) — employee name, designation, attendance, salary records.
• Device & usage data — app version, device model, operating system, crash logs, and basic usage events used to improve stability and performance.

2. Device Permissions

MyBusiness HQ requests the following permissions only when needed for a specific feature:

• Internet — to sync your business data with our secure cloud servers.
• Camera — to scan product barcodes, QR codes, and capture receipts or document images (only when you tap the scan / capture button).
• Storage / Files — to import data (e.g. product CSVs, logos) and export reports, invoices, or backups as PDF / Excel files.
• Bluetooth — to connect to thermal receipt printers and barcode scanners.
• Notifications — to alert you about low stock, due invoices, approvals, and important updates.

You can revoke any of these permissions at any time from your device settings; the related feature simply stops working.

3. How We Use Your Data

Your data is used exclusively to:

• Operate the ERP features you use — billing, inventory, accounting, reports, and HR.
• Sync your data across the devices linked to your account.
• Generate invoices, statements, and tax reports.
• Send transactional emails such as receipts, reminders, and account notifications.
• Provide customer support when you contact us.
• Maintain security, prevent fraud, and improve app reliability.

We do not sell your data, use it for advertising, or share it with third parties for marketing.

4. Data Storage & Hosting

Your business data is stored on secure cloud infrastructure operated on our behalf, with industry-standard encryption at rest. Some preferences (login session, printer pairings, draft entries) are also cached locally on your device so you can continue working briefly offline.

5. Data Security

All communication between the app and our servers is transmitted over HTTPS / TLS. Passwords are stored using one-way cryptographic hashing. Access to production data is restricted to authorized personnel and audited.

6. What We Do Not Collect

We do not collect your precise location, contacts, microphone input, SMS messages, calendar entries, files outside what you explicitly import, or data from any other apps on your device. We do not store full payment card numbers — when payment processing is involved it is handled by a regulated payment gateway.

7. Data Sharing

We share data only with trusted service providers strictly required to operate MyBusiness HQ — for example, our cloud hosting provider, transactional email service, and crash reporting tool. These providers are bound by confidentiality obligations and may only process data on our instructions.

We may also disclose data when required by law, court order, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of our users.

8. Data Retention

We retain your business data for as long as your account is active. If you cancel your account, your data is retained for up to 90 days in case you decide to reactivate, after which it is permanently deleted from our production systems. Backups are rotated and overwritten on a regular schedule.

9. Your Rights

You can:

• Access the data we hold about you and your business.
• Correct or update inaccurate information.
• Export your data in a portable format (CSV / PDF / Excel).
• Request deletion of your account and associated data.
• Withdraw consent for optional processing at any time.

10. Children's Privacy

MyBusiness HQ is intended for business use and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes in the app or legal requirements. We will revise the "Last Updated" date above and, for material changes, notify you inside the app. Continued use of MyBusiness HQ after a change means you accept the updated policy.
